Songwriting & Recording Workshop Weekend
Price Starts at
2 days, 2 nights
3 - 6
In this exclusive workshop, you’ll enjoy a weekend away in the picturesque Mandurang Valley on a 3 acre farmlet in Mandurang South. On day 1, we’ll workshop and write a song together and on day 2 we’ll record your song in my home studio, just 10km down the road in Strathfieldsaye.
Friday night: Check-in, and relax in the tranquil environment that the three acre property has to offer.
Saturday: Fuel up, and get ready to craft an original song together for you to enjoy and share with family and friends for years to come.
Sunday: Rock out, as we record your song in my home studio. I’ll then mix and master your track, and email it to you for review before we upload it to Spotify.
Uploading your track to services such as Spotify, Apply Music, Deezer etc will incur a $30 annual maintenance fee payable to the DistroKid Music Distribution platform. If you do not wish to publish your song to the major streaming services you can opt for an alternative such as SoundCloud, or you can simply have your recording emailed to you.
Are instruments provided?
For the songwriting workshop I recommend keeping it simple, but if you have specialised instruments you’d like to use please bring them along. You’re more than welcome to use any of [my instruments] for the songwriting session and the recording.
What about drums?
Again, for the songwriting workshop I recommend keeping it simple and using my cajon. For the recording, we will use my Yamaha DTX8, this is one fo the ways I’m able to reduce costs for you and processing time for me. You can [read more about the process on my blog].
Do you provide catering?
We don’t currently provide catering, but if you have any special dietary needs we can point you in the right direction.
Are there any shops nearby?
The Strathfieldsaye township is only 10km away from the farmlet. It has an IGA Supermarket, IGA Liquor, Bakery, Fish n Chip Shop, Takeaway Pizza, Petrol Station, Pharmacy and Medical Clinic.
